Pink spandex, a room full of dirty dancing women, plus Grammy award winning artists turned pseudo dance instructors Neyo and Eric Bellinger are the secret sauce ingredients for Bellinger’s second single and newest video “Dirty Dancing.” Sweeping the country on his Eazy Call album tour, Eric Bellinger continues to produce top tier musical intrigue all year long and this go round involves even more than we’ve seen before.
“Dirty Dancing,” shot by Riveting Entertainment, premiered on RIVnow.com. RIVnow is home to daily exclusive visuals supporting independent artists and creatives. The creative visual shows “Hotbox” collaborators Eric and Ne-Yo move from hotboxing the BMW to subbing for an absent teacher when a beautiful woman meets “Eric the Instructor” outside… Bellinger plays it like a pro and before long his “assistant” Ne-Yo joins the sexy fun, proving that you don’t need a club to dirty dance on the floor! Ne-Yo was more than willing to make this story come to life with Bellinger, saying, “This is a summertime BOP! The song is infectious and fun, as is the video. Makes you wanna dance. What’s better than that?”
I remember sending the song over to Neyo & just remember hoping he’d jump on it. One night he hit me & told me to come by the lab but didn’t say for what. When I walked in he said, ‘Surprise.’ He pressed play and he had recorded his verse for Dirty Dancing, I couldn’t believe it!, says Bellinger.
You can see how much Eric and Ne-Yo enjoyed the process in the BTS video, which captures the two artists flexing their best moves with the “students” and feeling the joy of seeing their creative vision come together.
