Irish singer-songwriter Edwina van Kuyk returns this fall with her most personal release yet, Feels So Right, a three-track EP that captures the beauty of letting go and trusting yourself. Arriving October 28, the record feels like a warm conversation between the head and the heart; reflective, soulful, and glowing with quiet confidence.

Built around themes of surrender, friendship, and self-trust, Feels So Right documents van Kuyk’s journey of learning to stop forcing outcomes and start following intuition. “Life doesn’t always make sense,” she says. “But when something feels right, you have to go with it.” That sentiment runs through every track, creating a cohesive thread between self-discovery and emotional honesty.

The EP opens with “Tailspin,” a shimmering metaphor for chaos and release, where turbulence becomes transformation. The second track, “Never Not to Know Each Other Again,” is a touching reflection on friendship, loss, and legacy; written in memory of her late friend Anouk, who van Kuyk met during a songwriting retreat. “Anouk taught me to trust my gut and believe in my music,” she reflects. “This song is about how strangers can become family and change your life forever.”

The title track, “Feels So Right,” closes the EP with an empowering sense of creative freedom. It’s a declaration of independence; music made not for approval, but for authenticity.

Produced and mixed by Cian O’Donoghue and mastered by Pete Maher, the EP balances polished production with raw vulnerability. It’s the kind of record that feels both intimate and universal, the kind you return to when you need to be reminded that uncertainty can be its own kind of peace.

Van Kuyk’s previous single, “Never Not To Know Each Other Again,” earned national radio play on RTÉ 2FM, 98FM, and Today FM, with earlier releases championed by Hot Press, The Bops Collective, and Golden Plec. Known for her captivating live shows, she’s performed at festivals like Electric Picnic and Longitude, and on stages across the U.S. and Argentina.

With Feels So Right, Edwina van Kuyk steps into her truest form, trusting the moment, following the feeling, and turning vulnerability into art.
