New Zealand-based duet LEXXA Release “Get out”

In authentic LEXXA form, ‘get out’ pulls you right into their atmosphere of luscious 80s synth euphoria and melodic overdrive, while subtly pulling at the heart strings through an internal monologue over a relationship gone cold. Elevated, with a bold, expansive chorus, it is the perfect push and pull of colliding thoughts in pure, musical form.

The track was crafted and produced by Maude in her home studio. From there, it grew inside the creative nebula of Studio 509 and Big Pop Studios, with addition production and mixing by Chris Van de Geer and mastering by Howard Rogers of Bring It On Studios.

Over the past year, the Auckland, New Zealand-based duet have supported kiwi legends Stellar*, Elemeno P, Openside, Decades, as well as international stars Against The Current and Camp Cope. On top of extensive local touring, the pair have played select shows in Australia, including the Listen Showcase in Melbourne in June 2018, facilitated by LISTEN who promote the visibility and experiences of women, gender non-conforming and LGBTQIA+ people through live music showcase events. At this level of momentum, the proudly colourful pair have no intent of slowing down, with more material and upcoming shows on the horizon for 2019.
