23 Years Old Myanmar Rapper King Lai Buys The Block He Grew Up On

King Lai real name Lai Ram Ceu is rapper and entrepreneur originally from Chin State, Myanmar. He moved to the Quad Cities, IL in 2008 as a refugee, where he later graduated from United Township High School in 2016. After that, he attended Black Hawk College for a few years until he dropped out to invest in real estate.

King Lai now owns a real estate investing company which has over 13 properties and 50+ units throughout the Quad Cities. One of those being a 24 units complex next to the High School he attended. He says this is one of the proudest accomplishments any rapper can have since this is where he grew up.
Now King Lai is focusing on Inspiring others by telling his story through music, which was a hobby he started in the fall of 2020. His most recent accomplishment is that he was nominated as “2021 New Artist of the Year” at The People’s Choice Award hosted by ChinTube in Indianapolis. King Lai’s current most popular song is called “Solo Gang” which is a bilingual song about being blessed despite the various struggles life throws at you. Solo Gang now has over 90k views on Facebook and 28k views on YouTube. King Lai’s most recent project is called “Romeo and Juliet” which is available now on all platforms. King Lai plans to keep on grinding both in the real estate market and music industry as the new year begins.
