Atmosphere are set to return to Europe this spring with Phere & Loathing: The Unamerican Tour 2026, joined by special guests Sage Francis and ZooDeVille. The 12-date run marks the Minneapolis duo’s first European and UK tour since 2023, kicking off in Antwerp, Belgium and spanning major cities including London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and first-time stops in Athens and Zagreb. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM local time.
The tour announcement comes on the heels of Atmosphere’s Winter Carnival Tour across the U.S., which celebrates 30 years of music and follows the release of their latest album, Jestures (September 2025). Alongside the tour news, Slug and Ant have released a new video for “Zorro” featuring ZooDeVille, continuing a recent streak of visuals that includes “Really” and “Grateful.”
Atmosphere’s return to Europe is underscored by their enduring influence on independent hip hop. Over three decades, Slug and Ant have built a career defined by honesty, humility, and a willingness to evolve. Their catalog spans dozens of albums, EPs, and collaborations, with Slug’s storytelling and Ant’s genre-spanning production shaping a legacy that values longevity over trends.
Slug shared his excitement about the upcoming dates: “Excited to return with my friends to rap for you and your friends. Let’s be friends. Looking forward to your coffee and chocolate and bread.”
Sage Francis, founder of Strange Famous Records and a pivotal figure in the early 2000s underground hip hop movement, will join the tour for his first European run with Atmosphere. Sage reflected on the milestone: “I’ve toured Europe many times but never with Atmosphere and never in a bus. Maybe I’ll actually have some time to absorb and enjoy the vibe of each country this time through. If not, no biggie. The goal is to rock the hell out of the stage and hopefully win over some new fans while reconnecting with old fans. This feels like such a treat for me as I don’t get to travel much now that I’m married with three kids. I’ve got to make the most of it as possible.”
ZooDeVille, a musician and cinematographer from California and founder of the NOFUN! collective, rounds out the lineup. After a busy 2025 touring Europe with NOFUN!, ZooDeVille is eager to return: “I’m excited to do another run with Atmosphere, back in Europe again. I’m even more excited to play in some of the cities I got to play last summer with the full NOFUN! crew, I have a bunch of new music I’m ready to play for everyone!”
The Phere & Loathing tour promises a blend of Atmosphere’s signature storytelling and production, Sage Francis’s acclaimed lyricism, and ZooDeVille’s energetic presence. With tickets on sale soon and new music in tow, the trio are set to reconnect with fans and continue building on a legacy of independent hip hop that spans generations.
