The Game Unveils Deluxe Gangsta Grillz Tape Featuring 21 Savage, Swizz Beatz & Ty Dolla $ign

Multi-platinum rapper The Game has released The Credits, the 12-track deluxe edition of his acclaimed DJ Drama Gangsta Grillz mixtape, Every Movie Needs A Trailer. This expanded project features production from Grammy-nominated Mike & Keys, JasonMartin, Swizz Beatz, and Jake One. It brings together a formidable guest lineup including 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign, Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher, Dom Kennedy, Boosie Badazz, and more.

The Game, who has spent more than two decades at the forefront of hip-hop, describes the deluxe release as a gift to fans still riding the wave of his recent Gangsta Grillz tape. “I’m in the studio putting the finishing touches on The Documentary 3. The response to the Gangsta Grillz tape was so incredible that we wanted to give the fans some more heat to ride to while they wait. Make sure you pre-save the album, you won’t be disappointed,” he says.

Since his breakout debut The Documentary in 2005, The Game has consistently delivered genre-defining albums, racking up eight #1 debuts on Billboard’s Rap Albums and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, and three #1 debuts on the Billboard 200. His catalog includes celebrated releases like Doctor’s Advocate, The R.E.D. Album, Jesus Piece, The Documentary 2, Born 2 Rap, and Drillmatic – Heart vs. Mind.

Born Jayceon Terrell Taylor in Compton, California, The Game rose from a challenging upbringing to become a defining voice in West Coast hip-hop. After being signed by Dr. Dre to Aftermath Entertainment in 2003, he quickly made an impact, with his debut album selling over five million copies worldwide and reshaping the sound of his region for a new generation.

In addition to his music, The Game has built a legacy as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, staying deeply connected to the communities that shaped his journey. His influence continues in 2025, as he releases new music, embarks on global tours—including the 20th-anniversary Documentary world trek—and prepares for the next chapter with The Documentary 3 on the horizon.

With The Credits deluxe edition, The Game and DJ Drama deliver another high-powered entry in the Gangsta Grillz legacy, bringing together heavyweight collaborators and reaffirming The Game’s enduring presence in hip-hop.
