“Soul Jam” is making its rounds again with an exciting new release with the Kinsman Dazz Band. Michael J Calhoun of the legendary, Grammy-winning funk/soul group the Dazz Band is back with a re-release of the recent hit “Soul Jam”. The release comes as part of a new deal with World Movement Records.
The “Soul Jam” [single] released in late 2019 had its promotion and distribution halted because of Covid 19 as it was climbing the Billboard and DRT charts. It needed a second chance with the same lead vocals and added background, new music and a remix by the great Pete Tokar and Byron Clayton. Fortunately, I connected with Lamont Patterson CEO of World Movement Records and he and I had the same vision for Soul Jam and my prolific catalog. It has been a world-class experience working together with Lamont.
