The “Young Grandmothers Club and The Legendary Hip Hop Star “Suga-T Stevens presents an 80’S, 90’s Dance Party Pop Up Benefit Series and “Pamper A Parent Gift Wish Drive,” starting December 22 nd , 2018. The goal is to raise funds for the Sing 4 Mariah Foundation, a foundation that empowers, inspires and brings support, advocacy and awareness towards the autism community and to pamper a parent for the holiday. Parents will be able to pick up gifts for them and will be provided a free lunch during the day time from 2-5pm. The Dance Party doors will open @8:30pm-1:30pm @ Fogline Bar & Grill (Scene on Bar Rescue) 25037 Clawitter Rd., Hayward, CA 94545. Participants will rock to the 80, 90’s DJ mix from the Worldwide Rick & Rush Show, along with experiencing the laughter from comedian and producer, Donald Lacy of The Love Life Foundation. Guests will also witness a special live presentation of a collaboration of singers and dancers, including Suga-T & The Shanico Band empowered to sing and dance for autism. The YGC’s Mission’s to unite and inspire grandmothers, while bridging the gap between young and older grandmothers, promoting, wellness, family, economic empowerment and the advancement of females, while inspiring families of children with autism.
“Suga-T” Stevens is the sister of “Rap Star E40,” admired as the 1st Lady of the bay area’s first family of Hip Hop in the successful family entertainment group “The Click. She is the owner of “Sprinkle Me Enterprise,” the home of the “YGC Division” and is a nationally known entrepreneur, author, influencer, advocate and mentor contributing to helping make positive change in youth, families and females lives. Suga-T promotes safe and well communities in collaboration with others who are leading in their industries and has firsthand experience as a grandmother of a child with autism. She understands the impact that this can have on one’s life. Although “Suga-T” is a successful many times gold and platinum Legendary Hip Hop Artist, singer, producer and writer of over thirty years who helped pave the way for females in Hip Hop today, she sacrificed her music career to go back to school and complete up to a Masters Degree and uses her influence to help build healthy, safe and productive communities. Suga brings together groups, projects, programs and events that support, advocate and bring awareness to families of children with autism hoping to inspire the parents and keep them well.
