‘Sunflower’ is a track unlike many others, and it has a salient texture, which helps the new British producer stand out among other experimental electronic producers. It begins with a swirling synthesiser that emerges from the ether before gradually finding its way to a foot-tapping beat with a relaxing cadence.
Spider Plant offers no vocals on this release, and unlike previous tracks that have appeared in recent years, he lets the music speak for itself, which works very well! Moreover, like a Sunflower blossoming at the beginning of the season, this track blossoms and grows as it progresses, with fresh sounds jumping out of the production.
