Eric Bellinger Releases Surprise “Meditation Music” EP On National Meditation Day

Eric Bellinger never slowed down after releasing his Eazy Call album last month, and now in the middle of his album tour he’s dropping new work: a five-song EP called Meditation Music that Bellinger created to soothe souls and raise vibrations. Eric Bellinger may have been rollerskating through your mind since his “Main Thang” video with Dom Kennedy, but now he’s making music inspired by yoga, nature sounds, and of course, meditation. And he has a good reason for bringing this music to the masses today. “May 31st is National Meditation Day and I really wanted to bring awareness to the lifestyle as a whole. I truly believe that yoga and meditation have changed my life for the better. It was a secret I felt I needed to share. Music is my platform…I always wanna do everything in my power to make the world a better place by way of my gift,” says Eric.

I listen to smooth meditation sounds, nature sounds, flutes and waves everyday. They allow me to tap into a different realm, mentally. Breaking through the surface to new levels of clarity and creativity. I often find myself coming up with melodies and harmonizing to the different sounds.

All the hits from the Eazy Call album are getting crowds turned up every day of his tour, but Eric Bellinger believes the calming sounds he takes in after the shows are elevating his consciousness–and helping him make music at a deeper level. “I listen to smooth meditation sounds, nature sounds, flutes and waves everyday. They allow me to tap into a different realm, mentally. Breaking through the surface to new levels of clarity and creativity. I often find myself coming up with melodies and harmonizing to the different sounds,” Bellinger says. The result, Meditation Music, is enlightened but sexy…an exciting peek at what’s next in his creative process.
