Hartford-born rapper / songwriter Klokwize is well known for his work with LA rap icons Suga Free and DJ Quik, his many songs and features on ESPN-TV networks, and his breakout 2012 album ‘Hood Hippie’ – but after returning home to Hartford, CT from Los Angeles, he started work on his new EP Dangerous Youth.
‘I’d probably write a letter to the man I was a while back,’ he laments warmly on the title track, the first single from the EP, out January 25th on all streaming outlets. The video for ‘Dangerous Youth’ features vocalist Amanda Sloan and was directed by Bryan Michael Holcomb and shows how hard it can be to be a kid – don’t we all remember?
