Black Militia Bring Louisiana Flavor in “For a Bag”

Black Militia have been adding their own flavor to the Louisiana music scene that bred Cash Money, No Limit, and Boosie, among others.

Comprised of founder XO, his younger cousin Ace Luciano, and Yung CEO, Black Militia is becoming known for their intelligent street music. “Our music is street, but it’s from a more intelligent, boss perspective, an upper echelon, get money perspective,” explains XO. “But at the same time, we still throw the gutter in there to let people know where we come from.

The group founder XO was born and raised in Lake Charles, LA, a city stationed along the I-10 that’s no stranger to drugs and crime. The highway is a known drug trafficking route connecting California, through Houston to all the way to Jacksonville, Florida.  XO has released music with the hip-hop stars such as Rick Ross, Killer Mike, Pusha T and Boosie BadAzz. After establishing his label Black Militia, Inc, XO organized the group Black Militia with the release of catchy, up-tempo single “Hit A Lick.” Their latest “For a Bag” is a certified club hit making waves across the internet, too.
